UnionBank makes InvestEd its Student Loan Partner

January 2020 — InvestEd partners with UnionBank through its FinTech Group.

The partnership — which was formalized early this year, is a result of years of collaboration between InvestEd and UnionBank in empowering the student loan industry in the country.

With this initiative, students applying for an InvestEd education loan now have the option of receiving their loan disbursements through UnionBank’s PlayEveryday app, on top of in-app perks and rewards.

It also widens the space for students and schools to succeed by increasing education financing opportunities of young Filipinos through student loans — adding value to UnionBank’s existing bank clients and partner schools.

InvestEd, a social enterprise servicing the education needs of the youth and future generations, shares UnionBank’s vision to “tech up various sectors” — most especially, the education sector.

The partnership is expected to bridge the gap in education financing and democratize access to quality education and employment through technological and financial solutions.
