InvestEd Philippines Wins Grant from Expo 2020 Dubai

In April 2018, InvestEd was awarded $100,000 (approx. 5 million pesos) by Dubai World Expo 2020’s Top Global Innovators and is the second Philippine-based startup who has received grant funding from the aforementioned group.

This year, the global social impact program, Expo 2020 Dubai, organized by Expo Live, has once again awarded exemplary social enterprises such as InvestEd. This supplementary fund will continue to help InvestEd in providing innovative solutions to secure economic and social equity for vulnerable groups who are the ones most negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

To aid students at this time, InvestEd has initiated an expansive COVID-19 emergency response such as providing relief support to its Investees, offering emergency loans for displaced students as well as crisis coaching.

To augment these efforts, InvestEd recently launched the Alliance for Future Frontliners — a platform for building a community of education financiers, incentive partners, schools and students to support students studying medical and medical-allied degree programs who will be the future frontliners of our society.
